WORKING ON DICTIONARY
The groups enriched the dictionary they had prepared before which contained words of their language related to water translated into English. Each group presented their own list of words. All groups then worked together to create the common dictionary, which contains water-related words in the English language and translated into the students' languages, namely Bulgarian, Greek, Turkish and Latvian. The students discussed the result of their work and found the variety of languages as well as the common elements between languages that are due either to a common origin of the languages or to an influence of one language on another. Activity is related to national language and foreign language lessons.
